OUR VISION & CHRISTIAN VALUES

“Do everything in love”

1 Corinthians 16:14

The Federation of Holy Trinity and Little Marlow CE Schools is committed to excellence. Working in partnership with parents, governors and the community we provide a happy, stimulating environment rooted in Christian values.

We see ourselves as a learning community where all are valued as individuals, cared for and nurtured spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.

The collaborative ethos of the federation is built on Christian Foundations and as Church Schools, we endeavour to instil respect for religious and moral values, religions and ways of life.

We aim to create a caring community and environment, setting out to meet the needs of the children, and to encourage them to care for others, through understanding and respect. Furthermore our federation creates an environment and atmosphere in which the children feel happy and secure, and links with parents and the wider community are encouraged.

We highlight and focus on key values, one each half term, and encourage the children to adopt these in their daily lives; leaving the world a better place because of what they themselves contribute.

Little Marlow

LM Values

‘A family where we love, learn, grow and respect.’

At Little Marlow we are a family where we love, learn, grow and respect.

The narrative from Luke (6:38) reminds us how to be a family within a Christian sanctuary of learning.

"Give, and it will be given to you... for with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you".

This vision is underpinned by the parable of The Good Samaritan. We endeavour to be a part of a community we are all proud of.

  Our termly values are:

Consideration

Honesty

Responsibility

Curiosity

Perseverance

Courage

What does it mean to be a Church of England (C.E.) school?

Spirituality

Spirituality is not something we can see; it is something we feel inside ourselves. It is about awe and wonder, asking questions, inspiration and being aware of something ‘bigger’ outside of ourselves.

Holy Trinity

‘A loving family where we encourage each other to flourish'

At Holy Trinity we treat everyone within our community with love, encouraging pupils, staff and visitors to flourish academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

Our vision is underpinned by Jesus’ mustard seed parable- from the smallest seeds grow the greatest shrubs (Matthew 13:31-32)

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.

Our termly values and bible stories are:

Our School Prayer

This was written by our school messengers

This is our school,

Help us to be a community where we love one another as a family,

Let us care for and encourage each other,

Let integrity and empathy stem  from our hearts,

In all situations, help us to demonstrate resilience and bravery

whilst finding the hope that comes from you.

Nourish us to grow and flourish like mustard seeds

– starting small but soon being able to move mountains.

Amen

SPIRITUALITY

At Holy Trinity CE we believe children live up to their potential if they are happy, have fun, feel nurtured and grow from a foundation of strong Christian Values. We value spirituality and the holistic development of the child.
