Sports Premium

Like all primary schools across the country, The Federation of Holy Trinity and Little Marlow CE Schools receives the Sports Premium grant to improve the provision of PE and Sport within our schools and to develop and encourage healthy lifestyles.

The funding is being used to continue to support improvements to the provision for PE and sport and encourage the development of healthy lifestyles.

Across the federation we offer a wide range of sports for the children to participate in and every child from Reception to Year 6 is timetabled to take part in two PE sessions per week. Across both schools the Sports Premium grant allows teachers to develop their own practice by working working with sports coaches and PE specialist teachers as well as being able to broaden the offering to enable us to deliver high quality PE lessons.

In Oak Class at Little Marlow children have daily access to outdoor areas designed to promote physical development and exercise.

We also provide a variety of after school clubs to support the children in their physical fitness and activity levels.

At Holy Trinity we regularly take part in sports matches, tournaments and competitions, both during school day, after school and at weekends.

Both school also benefit from an investment in outdoor learning provision encouraging pupils to enjoy the outside environment as well as develop resilience and team building skills.
