PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Little Marlow
Our PE curriculum is designed so children continue to build upon prior knowledge, skills and enjoy communicating, collaborating and competing with one another. Our aim is to deliver a high-quality inspiring PE curriculum that is specifically designed and delivered to enthuse, inspire, include and engage all pupils whatever their stage and ability. Children develop their fundamental movement skills alongside developing their physical literacy, emotional and thinking skills. This supports our school’s commitment to the mental health wellbeing of all our children. We aim to support our children and our love of movement by educating and helping our families to be more engaged in their children’s well-being and health.

Holy Trinity
Holy Trinity CE School strives to provide an open and inclusive Physical Education curriculum, providing children with opportunities to reach their potential and excel in both competitive and non-competitive environments. Physical education is key to the development of a healthy individual, both physically and mentally and an integral component to our school ethos and values.
It is important that each child not only engages in PE, but also finds enjoyment in what they are learning; understanding the importance of their own health and well-being and making informed decisions about their own lifestyle and development.
The school has recently invested substantial time and resources, bringing new and exciting platforms for use in our PE lessons, including fun-filled activity days such as our School-wide Quidditch day as well as the new implementation of resources and planning directly from ‘Commando Joes’. ‘Commando Joes’ specialise in developing character, self-worth and confidence in young people, allowing them to live happier, healthier lives. Below is an excerpt from their website, detailing briefly why they were founded and how their company can support the youth of today.
We exist to help young people find their place, feel capable and ultimately flourish in a challenging world. Because the rules for life are shifting and changing at a rapid pace. We are the most connected we’ve ever been, and yet the most disconnected at the same time.
Traditional academic subjects may fill brains with knowledge and information. But we believe that building character, self-confidence and resilience are equally important to young people in the modern day.
Through inspiring PE lessons, we aim to give all children opportunities to explore fun new activities, develop skills both individually and as a team, encouraging a life-long love of maintaining health and well-being.
